Robomilk is constantly trying to improve it's accessibility record. All new posts are now equipped with image alternative text and acronym readers. Old posts do not have these services.

Robomilk is written with proper symantic XHTML markup. However this only applies to posts made after 1st June 2006. If you want to check a post for validity then go to that post, copy the URL from the bottom of the page, then put it into the box at the top of this page.

Although the stylesheets are now edited for better accessibility, they are not CSS valid. See FAQ3 for information why.

~F.A.Q.

1 What do I do if I have a problem or find an error?

Just email me at the usual address (shaun.hargreaves@gmail.com) and put something in the title like "Blog Help" or something like that. All emails will be replied to and possibly added to the FAQ section.

2 Some pages have the date and time set to midnight on various dates. Why is this?

As stated in FAQ5, these pages are "special" and shouldn't appear in regular listings. So I have altered the date so they stay firmly out of the way. This applies to all pages before November 2005.

3 Your blog doesn't conform to the W3C CSS standards. What are you going to do about it?

This blog only fails CSS validation due to the extra stylesheets that Blogger insert into the page against my own will. Apart from these "inserted stylesheets" this blog is fully W3C validatory.

4 Why do you have a picture of yourself at the beginning of some posts?

Because I want to. It also gives visitors something to put a voice to when they're reading. This is now being phased out.

5 Why do some posts have different symbols (eg. @, ~, etc.) before the title?

This is because this isn't really a blog post. It's a page used for holding different content. Below is a key:

6 Why do some words have a dotted underline below them?

Having a dotted underline means the word is an acronym or abbreviation. Just mouseover the word to find out what it means. E.g. FAQ

7 What is "games capacity"?

Games capacity (as seen on the Games Page) is a figure representing how much of the space avaliable is currently being used for game storage. This number does not include how much is being used in bandwidth.

8 The abbreviations have an underline but no meaning appears.

This can be for many reasons. However the most common occurs in Firefox, where you may have to click somewhere on the page before the meaning appears.

9 What browsers/platforms has this site been tested on?

The Robomilk Blog has currently only been tested on the following platform/browser combonations:
Windows XP along with Internet Explorer 7 Beta 3, Firefox 1.5.0.4, Opera 9 and Netscape 8.1.
Windows Me along with Internet Explorer 6 and Firefox 1.5.0.4.
