nothing actually happened today on the bus. and never will again. because school is over. it's out. i'm never returning. st. theodore's is officially c-l-o-s-e-d down. next september it will reopen as blessed trinity as part of the government's "building schools for the future" initiative. i won't even be there. i'll be hot footing it down to manchester in mid-august

leaving school for that very last time was sad. i'd never return to it's darkened doors. if school was hell (which it was) i'd no longer be waiting outside the gates of hell every day. i'd probably never see many people there ever again. it's quite upsetting... i was back there again five minutes later because i'd forgotten to pick up my records for the new school.

continuing from yesterday, today wasn't a particularly good day for the average teenage commuter. after doing my usual get-to-the-bus-stop-at-the-bottom-of-the-hill-before-the-bus-gets-there-first routine i whipped out my wallet and started preparing for the bus to arrive. at this point i realised i didn't have my bus pass. dang. full fare for me. i got out the £1.40 i would now require to get home. i put away my wallet... and my bus rushes past. goddamnit! now i'd have to wait ages for another one

at least i came across jason, who now owes my £1.30 by tomorrow

it was an unusual trip on the bus today. first, when i got on the bus was completely filled - every single seat - with someone who was either wrinkley or balding and this theme seemed to continue throughout the journey. i stood at the front by the luggage rack, clinging to the support pole like my life depended on it. the woman across from me (also wrinkley) was constantly half-muttering, half-chewing under her breath whilst randomly nodding and shaking her head. non-stop it was. weird. after getting a seat (finally!) i ended up so deep in thought that i actually forgot to get off, thus enlongating my journey be a few minutes

tim has now flown out to canada. and although his father's condition is improving, the outlook looks grim. he appears to have "water trapped in his abdomen, which could flood his lungs at any point" thus causing him to drown, even though he is in perfectly good air

today i didn't go to school. i went to a cool science/technology day which i did quite well at. especially robotics, done and done in less than an hour. plus i became one of only three other people to successfully programme the robot to follow an obstacle course.
